Police investigate suspicious fire in Fyshwick

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire in Fyshwick this morning (Sunday, 6 October 2019).

About 7am, police responded to reports of a fire at the Canberra Railway Museum on Geijera Place, Fyshwick.

ACT Fire & Rescue attended and extinguished the fire, which caused significant damage to three train carriages.

Following an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who noticed anyone acting suspiciously near the Railway Museum in the early hours of 6 October.
