Police investigate fatal collision Page

ACT Policing is investigating a fatal collision on Southern Cross Drive and Chewings Street, Page tonight (Wednesday 22 July).

Around 7pm, Police operations were notified of the collision between a Nissan Navara and a Nissan Pulsar in which a 7-year-old girl has died.

The Nissan Navara was travelling west on Southern Cross Drive when it has collided with the Nissan Pulsar which was turning right off Southern Cross Drive into Chewings Street.

ACT Ambulance treated the child on scene and the child was conveyed to Calvary Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are investigating the incident and will be preparing a report for the Coroner.

This is the eighth person to have died on ACT roads this year.
