Police investigate death at worksite

ACT Policing is investigating the death of a man at a construction site in Denman Prospect today (Saturday, 11 January 2020).

About 11.20am, police were alerted to the incident at the intersection of Freebury Street and Ada Norris Street following reports of a pallet of tiles falling on a man.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics also attended and despite their efforts a 47-year-old man died at the scene.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigation Team are conducting a joint investigation with WorkSafe ACT and will prepare a report for the coroner.
