Ninth fatality on ACT roads for 2018

Nine people have died on our roads

The ninth fatality on Canberra’s roads in 2018 has been recorded, with the death of a man aged in his twenties on the Federal Highway, adjacent to the ACT-NSW border.

ACT Policing responded to a report at about 9.50pm that a pedestrian had been struck by a coach on the southbound carriageway of the Federal highway. ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics also responded to the report and attempted to revive the man, unfortunately he passed away at the scene.
