Million dollar Higgins home restrained after 31 cannabis plants and firearm seized

ACT Policing was today (15 July 2020) granted a restraining order over a $1.1m Higgins residence where 31 cannabis plants and a firearm were seized.

Police executed a search warrant at the property on Friday (10 July 2020) and officers uncovered a sophisticated hydroponic cannabis growing operation spread across multiple rooms.

Police also discovered and seized a single barrel shotgun.

No arrests have been made; however, police would like to speak to the 40-year-old owner of the property who was not home at the time of the search warrant.

Police have encouraged the man to present himself to Belconnen Police Station.

Anyone who may have any information regarding business or residential addresses being used for any type of criminal activity in the ACT should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
