Man to face court following a number of commercial burglaries

Facing court

A 29-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 20 April 2020) on a number of property offence charges.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigation – Crime Disruption Team arrested the man on Saturday (18 April, 2020) at a Kambah residence in relation to a number of ram raid commercial burglaries earlier in the month.

A search warrant was executed at the Kambah residence following the man’s arrest. Police believe the burglaries were not related to any impacts as a result of COVID-19.

The man will face a total of 16 charges, including burglary, theft, damage property, attempt burglary, drive motor vehicle without consent, drive while disqualified, attempt to take a motor vehicle without consent, and a breach of an intensive corrections order.
