Man to face court on assault charges

A 25 year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on 30 January 2020 following a serious assault yesterday (2 January 2020) in Macgregor.

It is alleged that around 10am the man entered a business armed with a weapon. He assaulted the man and made threats to kill.

Police were called to the location and arrested the man.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court on charges including possessing an offensive weapon with intent, reckless threat to kill a person and common assault.
