Man to face court on arson and property damage charges

A 20-year-old man is due to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 24 January 2020) on arson and property damage charges.

Police will be allege the man was involved in a suspicious house fire on 3 January 2020 in Mawson.

The man is believed to have returned to the property on 21 January and caused significant property damage.

He is charged with arson (building) and two counts of property damage.
