Man to be extradited from NSW to face serious charges

ACT Policing and NSW Police have arrested a 20-year-old man alleged to have committed a number of serious offenses.

The man was arrested in Sutton today (Wednesday, 9 September 2020) following a police pursuit in NSW. The man will be extradited to the ACT tomorrow and to face the ACT Magistrates Court.

The man had been linked to numerous offenses including aggravated burglary, ramming a police vehicle, arson and theft. Police expect further charges to be laid.

ACT Policing will continue to work closely with NSW Police to combat crime in the greater Canberra area.
