Lyneham woman charged with recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm

A 34-year-old Lyneham woman will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court today, Friday, 8 February 2019 on charges including Recklessly Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm on an 83-year-old woman.

Police will allege the 34-year-old pushed the 83-year-old over in a Dickson supermarket on Wednesday, 6 February 2019. The elderly woman was transported to hospital where she required emergency treatment.

The alleged offender was identified from CCTV footage, located, and arrested yesterday. The woman has also been charged with possessing a prohibited substance.
