Do you know this man? CCTV Image of offender using stolen credit card

ACT Policing are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an offender pictured in CCTV using a stolen credit card.

About 3am on Tuesday 23 May 2017, an address in Coombs was burgled by two offenders. At the time, the occupants of the house were at home asleep. The offenders took a number of items including a credit card.

ACT Policing investigated the incident, including a number of transactions made on the credit card since it was stolen during the burglary.

Police have released CCTV images of an offender using the stolen credit card at the Caltex Service Station in Callwell.

The offender is described as being Caucasian in appearance, of a medium build and about 175cm (5’9”) tall. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, a maroon baseball cap and white sneakers and was carrying a black satchel. 

Police established that the offender using the stolen credit card arrived at the Service Station with a number of other persons in a silver Daewoo Cielo, or similar, which had no windscreen.

Police are urging anyone who may be able to identify the offender using the credit card or who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
