Coombs woman to face court following motor vehicle thefts

ACT Policing has arrested a 24-year-old Coombs woman following a series of motor vehicle thefts from July 2018 to early January 2019.

Following reports of several motor vehicle thefts and forensic investigations, on Thursday, 17 January 2019 ACT Policing officers attended an address in Coombs, where they identified the alleged offender.

The woman was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where she was charged with five counts of riding or driving a motor vehicle without consent. She will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.

Police will oppose bail.
