Police urge Canberrans to know their limits this summer

Chief Police Officer for the ACT Justine Saunders joins Minister for Police and Emergency Services Mick Gentleman to launch the Safe Summer campaign.

Chief Police Officer for the ACT Justine Saunders was today joined by Minister for Police and Emergency Services Mick Gentleman to launch the annual Safe Summer campaign.

Now in its sixth year, the campaign aims to reduce alcohol fuelled violence over the summer months by encouraging the Canberra community to act responsibly, look out for each other and know their limits where drinking is concerned.

Police have three simple messages for Canberrans to remember this summer; drink responsibly, take care of your mates and plan a safe way home.
