Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Harrison

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred on Windjana Street early this morning (Thursday, 21 September).

About 1.00am, the two victims were sitting in their car with the keys in the ignition.

A male passenger was grabbed and dragged out of the car by an unknown male. The same male then went to the drivers’ side, opened the door and told the female driver to get out of the car. She was pushed out of the way before the unknown male got into the car and drove away.

The male is described as Caucasian in appearance, of thin build, approximately 185-190cm tall with long black hair. He was wearing a black jumper.

Two other unknown males were standing nearby beside a dark coloured sedan during the robbery. They both drove away in the dark coloured sedan, following the stolen car.

These males could only be described as being aged in their teens.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

ACT Policing’s Armed Robbery Team is investigating the incident and seeking witnesses and CCTV.
