Update - Police investigating suspicious death in Rivett

ACT Policing continues to investigate the suspicious death of a male in Rivett on Sunday, 17 December 2017.

The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old male, Bobby Stuart Allan of 47 Goodenia Street, Rivett. Bobby’s family has been notified and is in contact with police.

Following the incident, police identified Bobby’s distinctive white and red Ford Falcon utility, bearing NSW registration BS82FE as missing from his residence and suspect that the vehicle was somehow involved in the incident.

Police have now located the deceased’s vehicle at the Fisher Shops following a tip off from a member of the public.

Police would like to thank those who have come forward and assisted with the investigation to date.

As the investigation progresses, police are asking for anyone who saw Bobby’s distinctive vehicle on Saturday night, 16/12/17 or Sunday night, 17/12/17 to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
