Two more arrests after weekend shooting in Dunlop

ACT Policing has arrested a man and a woman, and recovered a weapon, in relation to a disturbance and a subsequent shooting in Dunlop on Saturday night (30 May 2020).

Police had already arrested a man from Charnwood in relation to the shooting on Sunday morning; the continuing investigation into the incident led to two further arrests overnight.

A 20-year-old Page woman was given watch house bail and is due to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday, 15 June 2020 charged with property damage and common assault.

A man was also arrested and released. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

A search of bushland north of Dunlop Ponds located a firearm, which police believe was used in the shooting.

The shooting was not related to criminal gang activity.
