Police seek witnesses to Chisholm home invasion

Police are seeking witnesses to an overnight home invasion on Goldstein Crescent, Chisholm.

About 10pm yesterday (Tuesday, 7 July 2020), a number of people were inside when two armed men forced entry to the residence.

The offenders made demands and injured one person before fleeing the scene in a vehicle with property from the premises.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics treated the injured person at the scene before transporting them to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, a member of the public disturbed two men attempting to break into a vehicle in Richardson. The men were in the vehicle previously seen at the Chisholm incident.

The two men were taken into custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.   

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information relating to the home invasion, including CCTV or dash cam footage from around the area, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference number 6570502.
