Police seek public assistance to recent aggravated robberies

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to three aggravated robberies in Canberra in recent months.

About 9:35pm on 10 October 2017, two unknown males entered the Calwell Woolworths armed with knives. A sum of cash was stolen and the men left the store, heading west.

About 2:20am on 21 August 2017, two unknown males entered Raiders Belconnen armed with knives. The males were last seen running in a southerly direction along Hardwick Crescent, Holt.

About 2:45am on 26 October 2017, an unknown male approached the main door of the Raiders Weston Club armed with a firearm. The male did not gain entry to the club, and left in an unknown direction.

The unknown males are described as being about 180-185cm in height (6’-6’2”) with a slim athletic build.

Police believe the offenders may have used a green Honda Civic.

Police believe these incidents may be connected and urge anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact police on 131 444, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
