Police seek public assistance to an aggravated robbery in Mawson

ACT Policing are investigating an aggravated robbery last Sunday (24 December 2017).

About 3.00am, two armed males forced entry to the Mawson Club at 10 Heard Street, Mawson.

The two unknown males threatened the manager and security guard, demanding money. The two males then left the area with an amount of cash.

The first male is described as 5 foot 8 inches (about 173cm) tall, of stocky build, and wearing dark coloured clothing. The male was also carrying a black coloured duffle bag and a taser-like weapon.

The second male is described as 6 foot 1 inch (about 185cm) tall, leaner build than the first male, wearing dark coloured clothing and carrying a firearm.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
