Police investigate aggravated robbery in Fyshwick

ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated robbery at the Anaconda store in Fyshwick which occurred this morning (Thursday, 21 September).

About 10.45am a male and a female entered the store and attempted to leave with stolen items. A store assistant approached the offenders and was threatened with a knife.

The offenders left the store and drove away in a silver car towards Queanbeyan.

The male is described as approximately 5'6" tall, aged in his mid-twenties, Caucasian in appearance with closely cropped blonde hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and black track pants.

The female is described as approximately 5'6" tall, Caucasian in appearance, wearing a black long sleeved shirt and black leggings.

ACT Policing’s Armed Robbery Team is investigating the incident. Anyone who may have information in relation to this incident is urged to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be provided via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
