Police arrest escapee

Yesterday (29 August), ACT Policing arrested a 31-year-old man and charged him with one count of escaping custody.

Investigations lead police to locate the man at an address in Campbell at about 5.15pm yesterday. The man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with one count of escaping custody.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning where police will allege that the man absconded from the Canberra Hospital on Wednesday (16 August) while in the custody of Health Officials.
