Offenders to face court for AMC assaults

ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis have summonsed five alleged offenders for the assault on two inmates at the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) in August this year.

Both victims were hospitalised after being assaulted in their cells. Information obtained as a result of ongoing police investigations assisted in identifying the offenders.

The five offenders will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday, 21 December 2017) to face charges relating to the assaults.
