Man to face court on multiple offences

A 22-year-old man from Coombs will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court this morning following an incident at an Emu Bank drive thru yesterday.
About 7.45pm, Police attempted to speak with a man at the drive thru. The man then tried to evade police by driving his vehicle at them.
Police removed the man from his vehicle and arrested him.
The man will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court charged with ten offences, including fail to stop motor vehicle for police, furious/reckless/dangerous driving, unlicenced driving, use uninsured vehicle, unlawful possession of stolen property and possess prohibited substance.
ACT Policing will be opposing bail.
