Man to face court for burglary and grievous bodily harm

A 20-year-old Calwell man is scheduled to appear before the ACT Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday, 18 June 2020) charged with multiple offences including causing grievous bodily harm and burglary.

Police will allege a Monash woman suffered a broken hip as the man and an accomplice stole a vehicle from her home last Monday (15 June).

The man was arrested yesterday and will face court today charged with:

  • Aggravated burglary with intent to commit theft
  • Ride/drive motor vehicle without consent
  • Joint commission theft
  • Unlicensed driver – license never held
  • Cause grievous bodily harm
