Homicide detectives arrest man for accessory to murder

A 29-year-old Karabar man will face the ACT Magistrates Court charged with accessory to murder.

The man was arrested earlier this evening (Friday, 28 July 2017) by homicide detectives as an accessory after the fact to the murder of 37-year-old Eden Waugh in November 2016.

The man has been conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he will be interviewed by homicide detectives and charged with accessory to murder.

Homicide detectives will oppose bail during the man’s court appearance.

The police investigation into the murder of Eden Waugh is ongoing and homicide detectives anticipate further arrests as the investigation continues.

ACT Policing is urging anyone who may have any information in relation to the murder of Eden Waugh to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via https://act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Rewards of up to $1000 may be applicable for information provided to Crime Stoppers that assist in apprehending an offender or solving a crime.
